Edwin spun to face the voice.
Charles stood in front of the mirror. The boy looked as he always had, with his curly hair and beautiful brown eyes. But tonight those eyes are different; they were framed by a rim of red. His beautiful eyelashes were damp and clumped together. A shaking frown replaced his brilliant smile.“Jesus, Edwin,” Charles whispered, his voice small and gentle.
