Confused, Merlin fastened the bandage securely and patted his friend’s uninjured hand, smiling in what he hoped was a comforting manner. “You haven’t done anything wrong, Lance, I promise.”
“Then why,” Lancelot said, grabbing Merlin’s arms and staring at him with a sudden, alarming intensity, “did you tell Arthur that I am your favourite person?”
Or: In a fit of pique, Merlin claims Lancelot is his favourite person. Arthur takes this about as well as you might expect.

I love love love Merlin being Arthur favorite. I eat it up every time and This is such a good story. Short and nice and sweet. Love it .

When Arthur was six years old he enjoyed watching the knights train. He and Dagonet could often be found sitting on the stone wall, whooping and cheering as the knights beat each other up. The king had told him that when he’s eight years old he can start his training.
Arthur didn't think time had ever moved this slowly.

I CANNOT EXPLAIN how much I love this story. It's nice, sweet, and short. A perfect little story to calm down and read. THE FUCKING WALL SCENE with Merlin asking Arthur to do what he wants. I fully thought he wanted that twink against the wall. BUT IT WAS just a little kiss. It was such a good oneshot.
