Summary
Turns out, Evan lied about "almost joining the SEALs". Summary
Buck had left the past behind. He was done with everything. Until Jason Baker, the leader of the illegal fighting, kidnaps the members of 118 and Athena, to force Eddie to fight for him again. Buck would do anything to protect the people he loves, even reopen old scars that he thought were sealed forever. Eddie nods, and Bosko looks confused. “What’s the significance?”
“Fort Story is the East Coast hub for SWCC operators. SWCC stands for Special Warfare Combat Crewman. You would know them as Sea, Air, Land, or a SEAL.” Eddie says.
“Navy Seal?” Bosko asks.
“I desperately needed some structure in my life. So, I enlisted. I almost washed-out multiple times. But I found myself under a great CO. He changed my life. He’s a badass motherfucker. He taught me to fight. He helped me figure out how to turn off my emotions. I never mastered it. I could shut them down, but never off. I hate how I felt. That paired with my ADHD, it wasn’t a good fit.”
“How far into the training did you make it?” Bosko asks.
“Far? No, Bosko, I was a SEAL.”
“I fucking knew it!” Eddie says.
