There was no nighttime at the Lighthouse — but they still needed to sleep. Rest is important when you're saving the world... and have little time for anything else, least of all getting laid. Sleeping in the Lighthouse — or, the Fade — was a strange experience for their mortal bodies and even stranger for their mortal minds. Minds that, when back home, would only get this opportunity to wander the meandering plains of the fade when they were asleep, and it was all disjointed and dreamy and fleeting and mostly involuntary.
Dreaming in the Lighthouse, however, was a wholly different thing. Raw. Realistic. Easier to will into shapes.
The Lighthouse was weirder than they expected, and for the longest time they'd be oblivious to the fact that dreams... Well, dreams could be shared.
Whether they liked it or not.
