Summary
Valentino fucking hated Christmas. He despised it. Every year was a bit worse than the next, and last year was categorically the worst Christmas ever. It was a holiday filled with garish decorations, spoilt children, and poorly disguised misery. He had thought, that after retiring early and having a child, it would become better. But alas, no. Usually, he enjoyed hosting his family at Christmas, but he hadn’t even offered this year. The idea of playing the role of the sycophantic, overly-happy host to his relatives was repulsive. A house full of joy whilst Valentino felt like a pit of despair. He couldn’t stand the laughter and sympathetic looks. He just wanted to drink the day away, cry a bit, and go to bed early, but he had Giulietta.

Summary
On the screen was a video from Alex Marquez's Instagram story. It started with Alex laughing hard with a friend, talking in rapid-fire Catalan; the only bit Vale understood was Marc’s name. The next frame showed Marc, standing shirtless as Alex gave him a box from behind the camera; the younger could be heard laughing in the background as Marc opened the gift. A rapid series of emotions crossed his face: confusion to shock, to embarrassment, before finally settling on a cocky smirk as he lifted a helmet out of the box. At first glance the helmet was normal- sleek glossy black with a dark visor. Until Marc spun it in his hands, revealing two little pieces on top.

Summary
The cat thing ends up getting sort of explained in Bahrain, when Lando walks into his driver room and finds a small orange cat sitting on his couch.
Oscar’s cat, presumably.
And he kind of looks like Oscar, too. Slender, lean, and with a slightly grumpy, unimpressed expression on his face. It makes Lando laugh a little. Like owner, like pet, clearly. “Should I just call you Oscat, then,” Lando jokes, giving the cat a little head scratch.
The cat, Oscat, stops rubbing at Lando’s hand and just stares at him instead. Lando would almost say he was looking at him disapprovingly, but it is a cat, so he’s probably just imagining things.
