life was just a series of instances, choices made, or layed aside. do you walk to work and take in some fresh air, or do you get to work early by the bus and maybe get that sweet sweet promotion? choices... options. funny how for one Daniel "Danny" James Fenton, or maybe unfunny, he didn't have that, he didn't have a choice, there was no option, exposed as "Phantom" to his parents wasn't the worst thing, no... maddie selling him to the GIW may have been the worst, but again no, the "Worst" was what this nice guy with the red funky helmet and protective vibes just rolling off him walked into, how does one explain away being a human guinea pig?
Jason was not having a good time... and he sincerely doubted that this kid was either, now how to make that the Scientist problem?

The point is he chose Gotham for a reason, he might as well make it a home.
So Danny gets a job in a nice little restaurant called bat burgers. He wants a ordinary life er- well as ordinary as the ghost Princes life can be?
Anyway! He gets a job.
Weapons aren't allowed and the Vigilantes in Gotham seem persistent to come and go about in this little restaurant, none of danny's Co workers take away the Vigilantes Weapons so danny who's stupid –brave– enough does it for them.
Oh and did he forget to mention bat burgers is a safe zone for Vigilantes, villain and all in between?
Yeah, no one seems to honor that rule either..

Summary
Running away from Amity Park—from his entire dimension—Danny takes refuge in the streets of Gotham. It's hard, suddenly being a homeless teenager in such a crime-ridden city, but it's better than dying a second time.
Enter Alfred Pennyworth, a kind old man who works as a butler and, for some reason, has decided to befriend Danny.
His future is still up in the air, but he's hopeful that things will work out. After all, Alfred isn't getting any younger and someone needs to help him with his butler duties. Danny's just the right person for the job.
Or: Alfred Pennyworth sees a homeless teen who looks like he'd fit right into the Wayne family and decides to take matters into his own hands. It's not like he's just going to leave this very sad, possibly meta teenager alone when there's more than enough space in the Manor to house one more child in need.
