Canon compliant-ish murder mystery/thriller spinoff.
Dazai and Atsushi are sent to a city in the south of Yokohama to solve the murder of the leader of a small-town gang. At first, it seems like the problem will be too many potential culprits, not too few. After all, it’s a little city on the edge of Port Mafia territory with a seven-year history of gang power struggles. It’s not like there’s a shortage of motives.
But of course, it has to get more complicated than that. The Port Mafia has a stake in this game, too. There's more than one person running around with a mental manipulation Ability. And the further things go, the more it seems like everyone has history in this little town ...
