Ekko was dancing and singing along to the song as well, pulling a smile onto her face. Jinx took one more long sip of her tea before setting it down on the counter and going over to him. He had his hand outstretched for her to take, a challenge present on his face as he gripped onto her hand and pulled her into him, letting that dizzying feeling she had when she was little take effect once more. Jinx relished in it, feeling a sense of warmth once again as she could feel the feelings, though muted, begin to bubble. Maybe she could embrace this feeling just this once. Imagine what it would be like to be held like this by him for all time. Wondering if they would dance together into their old age. A life where she wasn’t cursed to kill the one she loved. Would they live in the city? Or in a cottage in the woods? When they were children they talked about living in a tree house. Maybe they would fulfill that pipe dream. Would they be happy? If there was no curse then yes. She felt that they would’ve been.
If only her bitter ass ancestor hadn"t cursed her entire bloodline to not be able to romantically love someone unless she wanted them to die. What a bitter ass whore she was.
