Summary
The night of red snow or Scarlet night is a winter celebration that has been held since long before the appearance of the Bergens and was celebrated by the Pop Trolls.
Every December 24 and 25, trolls gathered in the main clearing of the village so they could give all their loved ones some gift in gratitude for everything they did for them throughout the year, and from there they could all see together how crimson flowers painted every part of the forest.
Branch knew this, but even though this celebration was intended to be affectionate, he always ended up with a bitter taste in his mouth that cost a lot to take off.
Maybe it's because he sees it as another noisy party, or because he doesn't really have someone to spend the holiday with or maybe there's another reason, and he doesn't expect this year to change.

Summary
It had been three months since Branch had become friends with Hype, Trickee, Boom and Ablaze and everything was going surprisingly well. Branch did his best to split time between Poppy (his crush and current best friend) and hanging out with the guys. Hype, Trickee, Boom and Ablaze were happy to hang out just about anywhere, but the group usually met by the river or at Branch’s Bunker. His relationship with them was one he kept entirely separate from the one he had and friends he shared with Poppy. It was also one that gave way for a brand new opportunity.
Question was would he be ready to take it? Or would memories of the past hold him back once more?
