He’s long since asked himself the question of whether he wants to live or not, if he’s happy being alive or happy being dead. He can’t find an answer to it. It’s stuck somewhere in the guilt, stuck somewhere in the bad days and bad weeks and bad months that he’s had. He can’t really tell if he’s happy being alive, if he’s content staying with his friends even as they all grow more and more distant from him, as he’s forced to watch them move on with their lives while he doesn’t know what to do with his.
