Part of my Astarion/Evil Tav timeline and early in the ‘(Transactional) Relationship’ - takes place before ‘Cost of Protection’ and ‘Two sides’, and can be read alone, but might help get some context as to Tav(Durge)/Astarions dynamic.
Summary
The group has made it to the goblin camp in their search for Halsin, and have come across Abdirak who offers to show his Goddess’s ‘affection’ to Tav, only for Tav to force Astarion to take it instead.
There’s so little Abdirak love on AO3 which is a shame for our lovable leather wearing freak.

Summary
Astarion is still one of the Magistrates within Baldurs Gate, but is hardly one who is interested in true justice or fairness, and is focused on his political future where he can climb the social ladder as far as possible, away from his lowly rat catching slum beginnings.
One day, a young man comes to his office begging for help.
To provide that help means our not so pale elf, will need to make a trip to the Szarr Estate and do his upmost to avoid meeting the elusive Cazador Szarr. A powerful man who’s reputation and shadowed reach in the city means he is not the man to cross.

Tav and Astarion start out in a companions with benefits situation, but the Tadpole and other forces both outside and within start to pull things apart. Overtime it becomes apparent that Tav and Astarion may be more toxic for one another and perhaps someone else is better sorted to help our Little Star with his trauma.You heard ‘if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it’ but what if someone is so broken, you should just accept they can’t be fixed

Summary
This story takes place after the issues in game, and after another story of mine called Never Say No. (please see notes)
Story so far is that after attempting to live in the city with Astarion, it became obvious that Halsin’s calling was in the renewed and healing shadowlands that were liberated in game.
Astarion, in effort to make Halsin happy, agreed to Halsin setting up a grove there for the people that get trampled underfoot in the streets of Baldurs Gate.
Halsin is throwing himself into his work, rather than deal with the traumas he faced from Cazador (and more besides), and Astarion is feeling out of his depth and also struggling.
Druids arrived and started throwing their weight around, which resulted in their leader Harben letting own prejudices get in the way.

Song Is What Was I Made For by Billie Eilish (please listen to while you read - It makes me tear up when I hear it everytime) and as soon as I heard it, it just made me think of Astarion and made me want to write something. Then I saw some amazing art pieces which seemed to fit really well and I thought I would put it all together and share them.

Summary
Gale is in desperate need for money after being outed by his ex at his university for having a cam site, resulting in him being suddenly fired. With few other choices, he turns to the adult film business in an attempt at quick cash. This results in a long struggling adult content career until his manager schedules a collab with an industry veteran named Astarion Ancunin.
Astarion has been doing sex work and adult video content for longer than he can remember. It's shitty work, with shitty pay, under a shitty manager who views him as a fleshlight instead of a person. When he's told about a collaboration with a new up and comer, he's less than excited.
Despite all of this, Gale and Astarion find themselves growing together both in and outside of the studio as they wonder if maybe their friendship can develop into something more.
