Summary
The galaxy is at peace. Thanks to Dr. Keller's perfected gene therapy, Wraith feed on animal lifeforce instead of humans. And a retired, nearly seventy-five-year-old John Sheppard runs a bar in a small mountain town near the edge of Pegasus.
John has a jumper, a house, and a Stargate he uses to visit Teyla and Torren on Tuesdays, Rodney on Saturdays, and Ronon pops in and out regardless - always with stories to tell. It's a miracle the IOA let him stay in Pegasus at all, but they did.
Life is good, calm, and predictable, and for the first time in John's life, that doesn't scare him.
Then, one day, thirty-odd years since they last saw each other, a familiar Wraith comes waltzing through John's door.

Summary
Hannibal Lecter had everything he wanted in life; a beautiful home, a thriving psychiatry practice, a fulfilling social life where he was fawned upon on a regular basis, respected and admired by most everyone he met, not to mention a prolific career as the most wanted serial killer of the century.
If he grew bored at times, if it somehow felt like something was lacking, he couldn't pinpoint what in the world it might be.
So when a rugged, unkempt, disheveled yet handsome man with the most brilliant mind he'd ever encountered was presented to him practically gift-wrapped, there was only one thought in his mind.
God really had its favorites.
