“This is cruiser seven reporting in, we’re approaching the crucible now. Can someone patch Vakarian into the comm system so I don’t have him pulling at my crest while we do this?” Adrien Victus requests over comms, drumming his fingers across the console of his ship’s main deck.
“Patching him through now, Primarch,” one of his soldiers quips, punching a few buttons on her console.
“Primarch! Have you found him yet? Are you at the crucible? Is he alive?” Garrus rapidly asks over the comms causing the Primarch to take a deep breath before replying.

Shepard is his commander first and foremost. With the more time he’s spent with her over the course of the last few months, though, a part of him wonders if there could be a bit of something…more between them. It’s a ridiculous notion, really—absolutely insane—and he’s sure he’s reading far too deep into it, but… He thinks he may be interested. That he may be willing to see where it could go. But he can’t imagine Shepard wanting the same. He probably is just reading too deep into it. Shepard is simply just being nice. Generous. The fact that she had been willing to help him track down and eliminate Saleon doesn’t mean anything in particular. All it means is that she cares about her crew. He isn’t the only one she’s helped, after all. Yet—Hmm.
