Summary
In an alternate universe where two underwater nations exist, Shuri is arranged to be married to the god-king Quetzalcoatl. Their courtship is off to a beautiful beginning until she meets K"uk"ulkan, the other god-king. The two of them start a turbulent and passionate affair that leads to devastating consequences.
He rasps into her panting mouth,
“My weakness is heat. You’re the only one who knows.”
Shuri stares at him through misty eyes. It’s as if confessing his love wasn’t enough, now she knows what makes the strongest man she’s ever known weak. “Why are you telling me this?”
“I want you to be my downfall. I want to surrender to you.” K’uk’ulkan sinks to his knees, never breaking eye contact and dragging his hands down her body as he goes. Her breath quivers when he sets his lips on her mound. “Incinerate me, Princess.”
