When Thomas, exhausted from a long day, orders a pizza and accidentially tells the guy taking his order 'I love you' while saying goodbye, he certainly didn't expect the guy on the other end of the line to say it back on instinct. And he certainly didn't think he would gain a new friend like this. A new friend who also happens to be just about the most beautiful person Thomas has ever laid his eyes on who's also incredibly kind and talented and wonderful and smart. A new friend who he keeps up the habit with of jokingly telling each other 'I love you'.
Yep, Thomas is so done for.

Everyone's back for 8th year, and Harry and his friends seem determined to spend their last year in school running around at night, hyped up on coffee and alcohol and Honeydukes candy, doing all the childish things they didn't have the chance to do before. Draco watches as he's always watched: from afar, quiet and bitter and hopelessly in love. That is, until Pansy decides she's had quite enough of it.

Summary
Harry has never been the most observant bloke. Sometimes to the point of him not realising his feelings for a particular pointy, pale git. And it's not his fault if literally everyone else knows about said feelings except for Harry and the git in question. So it's really not his fault, when faced with the scope of his feelings, he suddenly has a hard time talking to one Draco Malfoy. Or looking him in the eye. Or not being a total weirdo around him.
There's nothing to do but take the advice of his friends and try to woo Draco over dinners with friends, Ministry cases, and an unfortunately named Italian restaurant.
Harry just can't stop the flutter in his chest when he sees Draco smile.
