Summary
After I spend the last two weeks nonstop thinking about Mastermind I thought I needed to get my headcanons for the next episode out of my system.
The fic starts directly after the last episode and shows how Blitz and Stolas deal with the situation. A lot of angst and trying/failing to communicate their needs and feelings. They´re working on it! Also cuddling and pancakes.

Summary
Stolas knew he'd lose everything after saving Blitz. What he wasn't counting on was being alive to face the consequences. He'd expected to just slip into the dark. But now, living with Blitz and Loona, he has to somehow learn how to navigate his new life. Not to mention the fact that there's a revolution brewing, his daughter is about to inherit his powers, and everybody at I.M.P. are still grappling with the fallout of what happened to them.
But Blitz is softer than he's ever been, taking care of his every need, sleeping at his side every night. It should be enough. It should be all he's ever dreamed it could be.
It should be.

Blitz climbed the island that acted as the only table in the apartment, staring at Stolas. He looked like an overgrown domestic cat, tail whipping as he kneeled over all the paperwork.“Kiss.”
It wasn't a question. It was a demand, and Stolas was more than happy to oblige, smiling as Blitz's lips touched his. It was soft, softer than Blitz usually was. Unguarded, hopeful.
Maybe he could get used to it. Find happiness in that little existence they were building.

Summary
This initially started as a short one off with the night after the trial because I had Thoughts™ but then it developed a mind of its own so here we are, I guess. The tags and characters will be added as we go along.
The end goal of all of this is: I want that damn owl to be happy.
How do we get there? Damn if I know.What I do know, though, is that our protagonists will be amazed to see how many actual people are in their corner and what an extremely vast support network they're going to have along the way.
Also - apropos of absolutely nothing - this happens to be my 69th published fic. And I just thought that to be neat. And also very fitting. I can just about imagine Blitz going: "nice" while doing finger guns :))
