Summary
After the worst hunt of his life, 17 year old Dean Winchester calls his (#not dead) grandfather to take his brother away and keep him safe. Sam grows up as a Man of Letters, surrounded by books and magick rather than monsters and guns. Dean still grows up as a hunter, but without his Sammy by his side.
Everything that's 'meant' to happen is thrown out the window as the two brother's are separated for their formative years and some events occur early than intended. Sam never meets Jessica while Dean hunts with his angel by his side and a kid on his hip.
But after John's been missing for 4 years and Hunters are being stolen off the streets, the brothers are brought back together again for the hunt of a lifetime.
