Summary
And kai left. He always knew that if he left they would be fine, they'd made it quite clear. Having been pushed far enough, having finally had enough, he started his journey back to his village, leaving his sister and brothers behind. Said brothers and sister had to re work their lives with the absence of their brother, it finally hit them, that Kai was an important part of their lives and that he did so much for them.
(Each chapter is a new POV, this is my long awaited and promised fic, lol.)

When the Ninja head into Kai and Nya's old village Kai keeps his head down to not be recognized (Unlike Nya, who never interacted with the village) but when at a pub and in need of a distraction, Kai has to step in and delve back into his old past times that he had hoped would stay in his past.

Kai used to be in a band at a pub. He hasn't talked about it but now they're at said pub, and in need of a distraction, what better distraction than himself? He wasn’t really ready to give a performance though (He still aced it despite that!)
(The ninja, except for Kai, don't actually remember that Kai and Nya lived there/They only remember the blacksmith and not the town or its name since it's kinda apart.)

They were going to get to the bottom of Kai's aversion, flinching and awkwardness towards physical affection at some point, but that would'nt be tonight. Tonight was movie night and their family, and said boyfriend, were waiting for them.

I decided to go with an already established polyninja cause I thought it would be cute. There isn't actual smut but it does get steamy. -

Nya's let it slip a few times, it surpised him everytime. He shouldn't of had had to fill that roll for her. No, it shouldve been their actual parents, not him. But since he has, his parents can't expect to walk in and take his place.

Kai never wanted to be a ninja, he just wanted to save his sister. He stayed because that's what she wanted. He's now leaving cause that's what he wants. And she doesn't need him anymore.
