Everything is a little blurred around the edges, but Techno is on his knees, he’s not falling any further—refuses to—and he knows he’s not getting out of here any time soon. Maybe not even getting out of here at all, but that doesn’t matter as long as Ranboo managed to get away. Ranboo has to get away, otherwise everything that he, Philza and Eret have sacrificed for the sake of the Enol’ka will be for naught, and his awaited death will be meaningless.
Not that Technoblade isn’t going to give his captives hell for the time that they have him. He’s going to fight with every fibre of his being and then some.He’s going to make them regret capturing him.

A cub means that the bear isn’t going to back down. It can’t be a mother protecting its young, the bear is too small and Phil feels like he’s missing part of the bigger picture as he reassess the situation with this new level of danger.Or: Phil’s wolf pack finds their territory trespassed by two brothers running away from their own demons.
