A newly formed wrath’s hands shake as they hover over a bloodied altar. He takes a breath he no longer needs and steadies himself. His god deserves one’s steady and firm care, now more than ever.
After he’d been ripped apart and broken down, at the command of a monster, and at the hands of the unworthy trash. Yet he, gracious and kind as ever, desperately tried to save them still.
It’s a horrifying scene, if an outsider were to stumble upon the scene he’d think the ghost was the only human thing left there, the rest charred to ash and his god…
To the ghost the next few moments are a blur. Somehow his god, what's left of him, was now resting on the charred floor (anything’s better than that altar right?).
Dark blood still sluggishly leaves his body, slower now but still there’s too much blood and entrails exposed for the ghost to feel comfortable wandering too far, despite the pull of his body trying to lead him astray.

What he hadn't wanted was to find that his home had been invaded in his absence. And that this invader had apparently decided to tidy like some deranged reverse-break-and-entry.
