Alec paces the loft in just his underwear, feeling much like the tigers at the Bronx Zoo he and the kids visited last week. Alec"s skin is his cage. It’s so tight and itchy and he knows he"d feel better if Magnus were here with his soft hands and cold rings and magical, literally, lotion that soothed Alec’s heat symptoms.
Magnus should be here. His omega was in heat. But the Spiral Labyrinth had some kind of emergency that superseded heats, and Magnus was the only warlock on the continent (Alec failed to see why that mattered when there were portals but whatever. He was only a little salty.) who could handle said emergency.
So here Alec is, childless, Magnus-less, in the early throes of his heat, wearing a hole into the floor in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows. Hope you like the show, neighbors.
