He is not the kind of man who can pass the duty of being executioner off to anyone else, not even General Orieus.

It is the fifth and one half winter of their reign, and a strong blizzard has the court and the Kings and Queens trapped at Edmund's hunting lodge in the Western Woods in the later portion of the last month of the year. It's nearly Christmas and Edmund's customary "Winter Sickness" -his sibling's name for his extreme dislike of the last season of the year, so intense it almost borders on utter and complete loathing- is upon him. This season brings out Edmund's worst fears about what Jadis, that wicked Witch-Queen did to him on the battlefield that day at Beruna after he broke her wand. What spell or curse might she have silently cast as she stabbed him? What might she have done to him to turn his love of True Winter (not a magically forced winter) into such intense dislike of the season?

Althesia Lannister, the eldest child of Lord Jason Lannister, must navigate the Targaryen courts to keep her family afloat during the Dance of the Dragons.
Althesia's marriage will decide where House Lannister's loyalties lie, with the Greens or the Blacks, but as both her sisters married into opposite sides, she cannot doom one by choosing either side. That would be fine if she did not fall desperately in love with people on each side. To distract from her aching heart, Althesia focuses on advancing her own house towards the Iron Throne. However, this playing both sides in the middle of a dragon's nest may lead to her demise and the end of her legacy in House Lannister. Summary
The idea for this series of stories came to me after watching The Library. At the end of the episode, Michaela agrees to allow Sully to share more of Walt Whitman’s poetry with her. My thought is that the poetry would have been a catalyst for them to discuss sex and become more comfortable with each other, which is why I think Sully was interested in sharing with her. This series will have 3-4 standalone evenings, based on a different snippet of poetry, leading up to their wedding night. The overall rating is Mature to Explicit.
