Zaku's smile vanished in an instant as comprehension swept over him. Sakura's punch struck his collarbone, propelling him to the far end of the arena.
It was at that moment that Sakura realized the shortcomings of her young body. Although she had delivered a powerful blow, she hadn't been able to control her chakra's reverberation, and so her bones had cracked within her flesh. Plucking out the kunai embedded in her left hand, she tossed it aside. The pain, intense and almost unbearable, subsided within seconds. The Yin Seal emitted a surge of chakra, swiftly healing her bones and sealing the wound.
She gazed at her hands in astonishment, not yet accustomed to the sensation. Yet, it felt strangely familiar—a vivid but distant memory, a misplaced dream.
This was Creation Rebirth.
