"We've not been able to ID him, but it looks like he's coming back to consciousness," said the policewoman who came to meet us. There was a policeman cowering over what looked like a twenty-something year old man, in jeans and a t-shirt too flimsy for the drizzly London weather, and hair long enough that I could already tell it was going to get in the way. I stooped forward by the patient's head whilst the policeman slowly got up.
"Hi there, I'm Armin, a paramedic technician, can you tell me yo-" I froze as the policeman moved back and I knelt by the patient's head. His distant eyes locked onto mine and despite the change in hair and not seeing him for years I recognised him immediately.
"Eren?"
