Summary
Commander Lexa Woods, the finest soldier in human history, leads a team on a mission to find a new home for mankind. While on the ground of a new planet, Esperanza, Lexa's unit stumbles into an anomaly that leaves them altered.
Fearing they might be contagious, Jaha orders their execution. It is then Lexa and Clarke discover the anomaly gave them new powers. In an attempt to save them, Abby puts Clarke, Lexa, Anya and Raven in cryo sleep as she searches for a cure.

As the Dropship descended upon the Earth, I was woken up by the loud cries from the people around me. For a moment I thought I was seeing ghosts. Monroe, Harper, Roma, Atom, Monty, Jasper, so many faces of those I had lost so long ago.
I turned my head to see my formerly dead best friend Wells. It was striking, how exact everything played just like one of my memories.
“Well, what do you know… She really did it, Time Travel does exist.”
“Welcome back,” said Wells with a shy smile on his face, “Look-”
“No, don't say anything, please,” I tried to keep the animosity out of my tone that he was expecting, just so grateful to lay eyes on my best friend after years of him being dead.

She was very lonely, and being taken in by Tony Stark of all people for being an apparently missing half-sister was not her ideal image of what her family might look like. She'd dreamed of this moment, of someone related to her finding her, wanting her and taking her out of the system, but she couldn't help but feel incredibly nervous about all of this. growing up around them was a bit intimidating, including all the money that Tony seemed to like showering her with gifts with. but she liked her new family, and they grew close over the years.
Going to the Academy was hard, not living with Tony anymore and not seeing Rhodey, Happy, or Pepper frequently made it even harder to leave, but she wanted to be an agent. She wanted to put her brains and her skills for fighting to good use in any way she could. Finding love was just an odd side effect of that.
