Zuko is courting Katara, and with every passing day finds new and insane ways of showing that he would quite literally move the spirit world and earth to make her happy.
In hindsight, it probably would've been better if Sokka had realised he was in love with Zuko at literally any time before this. Or preferably, never fallen for his best friend in the first place.

Zuko scrubs his body until it’s raw, blushing red; he dunks his head under the hot water and stays there, staring up at the dark, vaulted ceiling of the washroom until his lungs run out of breath to use.
The oil of honeysuckle and opium and cinnamon, sweet and sharp and earthy, does not wash the stench of scorched flesh out of his nose.Zuko falls asleep on the evening of his official coronation, when he’s twenty-one-years old and has finally reached his majority. Zuko wakes on the morning of the Agni Kai with his father, eight years earlier.
This is annoying for several reasons, like the fact that the War is still ongoing, that he has zero friends, and that Ozai is not in jail.

i love this very much!! I love Time Travel and its so hard to find a good time time fic for Avatar The Last Airbender.. why do i feel like this is the only one where Azula is the main character for Time Travel fic :') and I can't find any of this niche troupe. i didn't know i need this fic until i stumbled onto it.Thank you for writing it :')

omggg Zuka having his Teenage era i love it. i didn't expect for this to be totally Zuka POV ahaha i forgot what the tags are about..I love love love the characterization of Sokka here 😔🤌🏻✨ it always sadden me about Azula and Zuka, and you showing the old (teaching her letters and all) and present (she stabbed him😭) relationship make my heart ached. You make me wanna read a good Azula and zuka siblings story :') which i never done before.
