Summary
The Wanderer went through the flames of his own hell to become forged anew as another weapon to be used by the Sage—but he spat once again in the face of "destiny" that Archon Elric and the Sage were hell-bent on forcing onto him.
At the very least, the path he carved for himself finally led him to Zeke again years after their paths diverged that day on the Tower of Fantasy—so he isn't so inclined to let him go again.

A series of hope, tragedy, and human nature. This works mostly as a character study of Aladdin as he undergoes trials and tribulations as a thief, prince, and eventually king.
The timeline will follow chronologically as Aladdin (1992), parts of Aladdin (animated series), and finally King of Thieves (1996). This is just a very loose description; while chronological, I'm not abiding by canon.

Aaravos was an all encompassing presence. Able to both light the fire in Viren’s soul and still keep it contained to the small space between their bodies, Viren trembled and gave into it. He felt like the music a conductor controlled, his own reactions formed and directed by Aaravos’s skilled hands above him.
Viren could get used to this, this feeling of being wanted by Aaravos the way a dying man sought water.
