Summary
“Suppose I might… enjoy kissing you.”
“You don’t enjoy that already?” The mock hurt that creased Jack’s features softened at the hard look Daniel pinned him with, and Jack had the good grace to raise his hands up in surrender, but the teasing curve of his grin even as he quieted down kept the colour high on Daniel’s cheeks.
Still, he persisted. “Might enjoy kissing you somewhere someone might see.”
And that certainly got Jack’s attention.
or,
Jack convinces Daniel to tell him filthy things.

Summary
They’ve never quite gotten this far before. Daniel’s been this breathless in the past, fingers digging into Jack’s shoulders and body arched against his, but never with Jack cupping his straining arousal through his trousers. And Jack’s certainly been this desperate, has pressed rough, sweet kisses to Daniel’s collar, sunk his teeth into the firm muscle of his shoulder, but never with Daniel grinding against his thigh.
or,
This new territory is hard to navigate when they haven’t quite put words to what they’re doing together, but Daniel and Jack learn to manage it.

Summary
“I was hoping we could drink until I crashed on your couch.” Jack’s eyes fell on the bottle of whiskey on the coffee table, and he reached for it, taking a swig straight from the source instead of from his glass. “Was kind of hoping I could do the same tomorrow, too.”
The realisation dawned on Daniel and he nodded his sympathy, taking a seat on the recliner by the couch and reaching for the glass Jack had poured for him. “That bad at home, huh?”
“S’just temporary. ‘Til I find a place of my own,” Jack clarified, but Daniel was already nodding, taking a sip of his own drink in solidarity.
“However long you need.”
or,
A story about Daniel and Jack growing closer as they both try to adjust to life after the war as best they can.

Summary
“We don’t know that taking care of it makes it better,” Sousa said, and Jack slammed his fist against the one-way glass in frustration. But the other kept talking, and he hated how he didn’t sound phased one bit. “It’s the theory, and a good one, and one the lab-rats are sure about, but we can’t take any chances. So just… do what you have to do. Pretend I’m not here.”
or
Jack gets infected with something that makes him incredibly horny, and Daniel helps him get it out of his system before it burns him up from the inside.

Summary
“Tell me what you’d do to me if I was there.”
Another late night at the office after Sousa should have clocked out--Thompson comfy and cozy in Dooley’s office again, door ajar. Sousa had every intention of walking over and shutting the door like last time, maybe a bit more brusquely than necessary just as a reminder that the other wasn’t actually running this joint, except, with his hand on the handle ready to do just that, Thompson’s composure broke. Just slightly, the smallest hitch in his breath, soon disguised by a rough, warm chuckle as if he’d never been affected at all.
And Sousa found himself unable to shut the door, his blood on fire as he listened, wondering if Thompson would lose his cool again.
or
Thompson keeps using the secure line in Dooley's office late at night, and Sousa hates how he has a thing for Thompson's voice.

Summary
Earl had tried dating people who were the opposite of Cecil. He’d tried not-dating people. He’d tried forgetting he was a man of flesh and blood who ached for companionship. He had never before recently tried dating someone exactly like Cecil, save for his voice and smile, who enjoyed leather pants trimmed with feathers or who spoke about the radio like it was a god meant to be appeased.
“This is a very nice meal, Earl! I’m impressed! Tell me, did you pickle all the parts you didn’t use? Are the teeth in a jar somewhere? Do you think I could… see them?”
The illusion was shattered every time Kevin opened his mouth. Thank goodness there was a knot for that.

Summary
"Nerve impulses work far harder when novel stimuli are introduced. To soothe the body and allow it a chance to relax, familiarity would be a good, if temporary, remedy." He takes the seat he had abandoned only moments before, but he seems closer, so much closer, and places a hand on your thigh, at the hem of your shirt.
"Would you like to try and soothe your nerves with me?"
or
Cecil weaves a tale on the radio; one that is about you, but also about a scientist named Carlos.

Summary
Earl wasn't sure what to make of this. He’d long since given up the idea that he and Cecil could reconcile anything, and honestly, he’d moved on, too. When work wasn’t keeping him occupied, his son (he was his son, right?) took the rest of his attention. There was no time for romance, but more importantly, there wasn’t an interest in it, either. There was a lot he had to figure out in life, a lot he had to focus on –
– but it had been a while since he’d gotten laid.
or
Carlos and Cecil invite Earl over for a threesome, and after some hesitation, Earl agrees. He just wishes, once the clothes came off, that they'd remember that he was there, too.

Summary
“Cecil isn’t here,” Kevin offered helpfully. Really helpful, voice straining with how helpful he was being. “A long-distance relationship is unproductive. Cecil isn’t here to discuss plans with you or get food with you or stay up late talking with you. But I am. And I look just like him, don’t I?”
or
Carlos misses Cecil while in the Desert Otherworld, and Kevin takes it upon himself to make Carlos a productive member of society again despite that.
