Summary
All of the marbles crack. All of them.
“Um,” he hears. That was not his own voice. The only voice he should be hearing is the one in his head, so who in the fuck was that? “Um. I’m sorry. And hi.”
Jungwons head whips to the side, right to where that first marble cracked. Standing in his living room is a man with blonde hair and moles decorating his face. He looked young. Older than Jungwon obviously, but still young.
“I’m sorry?” Jungwon mumbles, confusion and fear bursting through his body. What the hell is happening. “I–What?”
Jungwon looks at the other cracked marbles, and in their place are five other men.
Jungwon was going insane. He was going insane. Right? This wasn’t real. He’s dreaming. He woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, and he’d been dreaming ever since that call he had with Ms. Kim. He’s probably passed out at a hospital or something. This cannot be real.
Or, Jungwon moves out of his mothers house the minute he graduates to finally get away from her. What awaits him at his new house, though—men who come out of broken marbles, an old dog, and strange neighbors—he did not sign up for.
