It is called a thought quilt, or sometimes, when what troubles a person is really bad, it can be called a worry weaving. Something that you choose the colors for and the pattern is allowed to change depending on how you feel as you reflect on what’s troubling you. Requiring nothing more than yarn, a hooked human tool for the weaving, and a pair of small scissors, it is a simple, yet surprisingly effective, means for Hunter to channel his need to fidget as he mulls over… things.
And Hunter has a lot to contemplate over these days.

Summary
Life brought them together as step-siblings, and they used that gift to get into endless trouble at their old schools. After years of bullying and self-defense stabbings, their mothers managed to get them into a new school in the hopes that they could have a trouble-free school life.
However, what they didn't count on is that it is quite difficult to have a normal life when the only healthy social interaction they have had in their short lives has been with themselves, and their only social skills are the product of what little is salvageable from various television shows.
But even with that great disadvantage, they both face this challenge, discovering in the process that no matter how weird you are, or how many problems you have, there is always someone weirder and more traumatized than you.
