Summary
He was not one to take mementos.
But this time he did.Geralt has lost his friends at Stygga, and most importantly, lost Regis. Reaching into the Satchel of the Memories hurts, but also brings comfort. How did they end up to be what they were? And what lies at the bottom of the satchel?
Fic that deals with loss, but it's still more fun than depressive. And I promise, Regis is ok.

"Fine, maybe after their first few meetings Stede might have described Izzy Hands as full of nothing but piss and vinegar, but he had come to realise more and more that he had been wrong. The man was infuriating, true. Angry, disillusioned. Practical to a fault. But also more loyal than any knight from a story book. Observant, dedicated, with a kindness that asked none in return. Oddly (irritatingly) funny, and breathtaking with a sword. Even down a leg, the man had managed to awe Stede with his skill and flair. It seemed to Stede an utter injustice in the world that such a man should sit resigned to not being worth the effort of romancing."

In the aftermath of Calypso's celebration, things still aren't quite right aboard The Revenge, and Stede is determined to fix it, with his new First Mate at his side. However, when he overhears Izzy talking about his experience (or lack thereof) of romance, Stede finds himself determined not only to make things better for the crew but to show Izzy how much he is appreciated. He sets off on a mission to woo Israel Hands and finds himself feeling things he hadn't anticipated.

“Does that not—” Stede cuts himself off before he can ask a silly question.
Izzy susses it out nonetheless. “Hurt? Yeah. It does.”
The air is dry as though the candle’s flame tickles down Stede’s throat, southbound and spilling between Stede’s legs.
Oh, dear.
After Stede encounters him playing with candles, Izzy holds Stede’s hand through baby’s first waxplay.

Summary
Geralt enjoyed the slow pace of life at Corvo Bianco, but the solitude bothered him. How it ended in Toussaint bothered him. But he’s used to bad endings, and used to being alone. He’ll manage, somehow.
[Spoilers for B&W]. This is a post-game epilogue for the ending in which Syanna dies and Detlaff goes free. It spans about 15 years, picking up directly after the end scene of the DLC.
