Summary
"What the hell?" Dorcas asked, trying to pull her arm back, but Marlene had gotten a good hold of it. A reaction, at least— surprise and annoyance; but a reaction nonetheless. "You want to hit me, McKinnon? Go on." Marlene didn't reply, just stared back at black eyes angrily, her fingers tight around Dorcas' wrist. She squeezed. Hard. Just because she could. Dorcas' eyes widened, but she didn't look scared, nor intimidated. It looked to Marlene like it was exactly what Dorcas had wanted. "Do it, then. Hit me. You know I deserve it."
"You are fucking mental," Marlene answered, truthfully. She dug her nails into Dorcas' skin— wanting to touch her bones— being pleasantly surprised when her eyes widened even more. However, almost instantly, any trace of expression in her face vanished once again.
“That’s all you have to say?” Dorcas asked, tone monotonous, making Marlene’s blood boil. “You are getting slow. You reckon the fall affected your ability to think properly?”
"Fuck you. You are the one who pushed me."

"Hogwarts' Triwizard champion," he says, holding out the parchment. "Dorcas Meadowes!"
The goblet's fire turns that shade of deep red once more. And just before anyone could make out what was happening, another piece of parchment shoots out of it.

Summary
Dorcas Meadowes will always hold a special place in Marlene's heart: her very first crush. Painfully out of her league, probably straight, not to mention a thousand miles away, now that Marlene is at college. It's fine. Really, Marlene is perfectly happy with Dorcas being a little piece of her past. That is, until Dorcas commits to playing soccer at Hogwarts University. Through game nights, coffee dates, and meddling roommates, Marlene finds herself falling right back into old patterns again.

After Sirius and Mary start dating eachother, Remus and Marlene decide that fake dating each other may be the best way to get their respective crushes attention. Unfortunately, Marlene keeps getting distracted by a certain uptight Slytherin girl in her divination class who predicts her plan will not be successful.

Summary
Marlene and Dorcas have hated each other ever since their first day at Hogwarts, and that's how it will always be. Marlene is in Gryffindor and Dorcas is in Slytherin. They were meant to hate each other, it's just how it works. The two houses have been rivals since the beginning of Hogwarts history so why should Marlene and Dorcas be any different?
Marlene is busy trying to not live up to her mother's expectations and Dorcas is just trying to get through her sixth year without being noticed. What could go wrong?
