    Optimus Prime was missing. Had been missing for almost the entire war. Once he stood as a figure of hope, a leader for the new future to come. Mecha were fighting for their freedom and right to choose their path in life, Optimus had been that inspiration and hope for that future. And now? He still was. Optimus Prime was too pivotal to the Autobot's cause to lose, who knows what would have happened if the knowledge of their precious leader's disappearance got out. Prowl predicted the war would be lost, many of the mecha would lose their hope and will to fight if their own leader abandoned them. Well, no one knew what happened to the Prime, but Starscream would wager a bet that the old fool got scared and left when the fighting got too much. Which had left Starscream here, pretending to be the Prime and leading the Autobots in his place.
