    In the heat of battle everything fades away except the enemy and maybe an endangered bystander. He had been told, with the rest of his class, to stay away from the fight. It was one of many, a larger one nearing the border of the city and Tokyo. Class 1A stayed away, as instructed, until they were called upon in an emergency all hands on deck backup deployment. The only information they went in with was that the league had a multitude of new members with previously unseen catastrophic quirks, and that they had depleted many of the pros by the afternoon. But class 1A is different, strong, new teens looking to make a name for themselves.

    He Just wanted to make a name for himself.

    When Kirishima finds himself cornered his future as a pro hero, or rather, his entire future, is altered in almost an instant. With a swarm of news reporters, cameras, and bystanders watching and recording behind police tape to catch it all. Oddly enough, on the cusp of death, he finds his mind occupied by only two thoughts. 1. What was his father going to do when he found out his only son was killed in combat? and 2. What the fuck is the warmth pressing into his ear?

    Denki Kaminari absolutely loves his friends. He really, really does, and he has demonstrated again and again that 'he would die for them' isn't just words. Still, what he loves the most is pranking said friends, ESPECIALLY if it leads to him running away with explosions hot on his heels.

    After the party to salute their second year and usher in their third year, with everyone nursing a killer hangover since Todoroki is a closet delinquent who spikes the punch, it seemed like a perfect time to pull one over his favourite blasty.

    But this time. This time. He may have gone a taaaaad too far.

    ‘No way, you don’t remember?’ Kaminari said again, cackling like an old hag. … ‘You asked Kirishima to be your boyfriend last night,’ Kaminari went on. Bakugou stiffened, and his stomach made an impressive backflip; his intestine clapped. ‘And he said yes. Poor Kirishima, you’re going to break his heart if you forgot already!’

    "Hey mom! I uh... I'm home!"

    Eijirou stands awkwardly by the door. Katsuki doesn't look much more comfortable.

    A tall blond woman turns the corner, her mouth open and her nose wrinkled as if she's about to scold the boy when she freezes, her eyes landing on Eijirou.

    "Katsuki. What the hell is that?"

    "He's a boy! Not an it." Katsuki fumes.

    Mitsuki takes in the kid, probably like 12 years old, black hair, shirtless and in rags for pants, no shoes, covered in dirt. And, obviously the most noteworthy pieces of his outfit, the muzzle, the shackles, and the collar.

    "Right. I can see that. Why is he here, and what the hell happened to him?"

    Katsuki hikes his shoulders up, seeming defensive.

    "I dunno. He was with some sketchy mask dudes and I kinda.. stole him."

    Mitsuki blinks.

    "You *stole* him?"

    Katsuki's "Uhh... Yeah," is emphasized by Eijirou eagerly nodding his head behind him.

    ÷=÷=÷=÷=÷
    Or 5 times Katsuki saves Eijirou, and one time Eijirou saves Katsuki.

    “Yaomomo!” Eijirou exclaims, hugging her. “Everything alright?”
    “Just glad you’re here,” she says, hiding a smile behind her hand. “There’s…um. A situation. Which we could use your help with.”
    He follows her gaze across the room, by the bar, where Katsuki stands under a sprig of mistletoe, glowering at everyone who passes him by. As Eijirou watches, a young rookie with a bleached buzzcut approaches him and, even across the room, Eijirou can see Katsuki’s lips bluntly say, “Walk away.”
    The rookie walks away.

    Bakugou and Kirishima kiss again, and again, and again.
