Din misses the kid. A lot. Now that Grogu is gone, he’s lost any and all sense of direction and is back to his old bounty-hunting ways. He’s good at bounty-hunting. What he’s not good at is people. Which is why the least thing he’d expect from a routine high-profile hunt is coming back empty-handed, barely alive, and with a force-sensitive girl in tow.

Summary
The first chapter of this AU takes place during Season 2, Episode 4 of The Mandalorian, and the major plot points all remain pretty canon adjacent with the addition of some wrenches you throw into the mix.
You are a highly trained Mandalorian Nite Owl, born in 26 BBY. You were seven years old when your father died during the Siege of Mandalore just before Order 66 was enacted, changing the course of Galactic history. You were taken in by The Empire but later found your way back to your Nite Owl sisters and your mentor Lady Bo-Katan Kryze.
Now, after three decades of seeing the corruption on all sides, you've become fed up with Lady Kryze and her power-hungry vendetta to take back Mandalore. You just want to reclaim your own life and freedom, so you do what any out-of-options space orphan does. You sign up for the Bounty Hunters' Guild.
