Summary
He doesn't know what happens. One minute he's struggling against the leash spell, the next he's tripping on his own momentum as the magic suddenly snaps, as he tastes freedom for the first time in- in ever, probably.
Adrien doesn't stop long enough to think about where he's going or why. He just bolts.
(Marinette's spell goes wildly off-target, but it's a stroke of luck for everyone involved that it does).

Summary
He doesn't even register that anything's strange at first. He spends more time transformed than not, whenever he can get away with it. He's long since gotten used to the feeling of his ears swivelling, his tail flicking.
It takes him far too long to realise that he shouldn't be feeling his ears or his tail right now.
He assumes at first that it's only phantom sensations. That happens sometimes, when he's stayed transformed for most of a day (or overnight, or- he stays transformed a lot. Whenever he can get away with it). There's usually a span of time after where he still moves like he's transformed until he has to consciously readjust.
He knows Ladybug feels something similar, although without the ears and tail.
The ears and tail that Adrien, somehow, still has.

Summary
Nino knows better than to go down dark alleys at night. He really, really does.
He's not sure now what had possessed him to do it anyway.
Nino's fairly fast. He's faster now than he used to be, and he's way more acrobatic. He knows he could climb the rough walls on either side of the alley, given a chance.
Like the kind of chance he could maybe get by throwing a bait wallet down the alleyway past knife guy.
Knife guy's not giving him that kind of chance.
Nino really wishes he'd listened to Alya.

"Why didn't we introduce them sooner?" Alya wonders, draping herself over Nino's back and watching Kagami thrash Max at his own game.
Literally. It's his own game. Kagami's beating Max at a game Max programmed.
Alya's not as surprised by this as she maybe should be. Kagami has a competitive streak that puts even Marinette's to shame.
"It definitely did not occur to me that they'd hit if off this hard." Nino tilts his head, eyebrows shooting up as Kagami uses a move that she definitely learned from Marinette to take Max's Gamer out.
