Summary
In a world past Judgement Day, where scattered survivors are barely able to carve out hiding places from the machines, Eddie Diaz is doing everything in his power to keep himself and his son out of harm’s way. Summary
In 2547, the L.A Undercity lives in constant darkness, envious of the topsiders who know what the sun is. Evan Buckley is lonely, having been abandoned by his parents and having no word from his sister for ten years, he seeks escape in a dream land where he has a husband and a son. Until he finds them in his waking life.
Eddie Diaz returned from the army to find his wife murdered, and nobody seems to want to help him find the culprit and bring them to justice. Taking matters into his own hands, he leans on friends and contacts to find the truth, and he might just have an in when he meets the brother-in-law of the most likely suspect.
What he can’t figure out is if Evan Buckley is working with Kendall Corp and is just a good actor, or whether the man really is as sweet as he seems.
When secrets are revealed and the past continues to haunt them, putting then in danger, can they help each other discover some light in their dark world, and maybe find the life Buck’s been dreaming about? -

Summary
Missing Chris is less of an emotion these days and more of a physical entity. He’s sure everyone can see that he’s slowly hollowing himself out, that he can’t do much of anything else.
But when Jee laughs at him trying to get his tongue to touch his nose, and Mara loops one of her arms through his to keep him from tossing the rest of his cup in the garbage, Eddie feels solid again.
Maybe he likes yellow birthday cake ice cream after all.
(or, gerrard messes with the team's schedules and eddie 'i just drove my son to flee the state' diaz is the only option to watch mara and jee-yun after school on tuesdays, which, shouldn't be a problem at all, right?)
