Summary
He set the two wine bottles in front of Lynn and collected the mora she handed him, keeping an eye on the knight as he dragged the Traveler into conversation. He noticed how the Traveler's hands tighten into fists and how Paimon broke away from Lynn to speak to the knight in the Traveler’s stead.
What in the world is going on? I know the knights are useless but what is he saying to the Traveler that is causing such a reaction?

Summary
You drown in rushing water, and show up in Teyvat. You are present, the “traveler” is not. You wonder if this means you must take their place, but an average human from Earth can not match up to whatever the traveler is. Not in strength, not in kindness, not in geniality. It takes crawling out of a hole of self-hatred and shaking hands to come to the conclusion that you were never meant to take on the destiny of a hero.
(A mouse can’t ever put a bell on a cat’s collar; Sometimes the most favorable task isn’t achievable, no matter how much you beg to be different.)
The fic is set to take place during the entire first main quest in Mondstadt, and eventually straight to Fontaine, if I can write it up to that point. it might be long enough for that section to be an entirely different fic.

" Blade looked down at his feet, not even bothering to widen his eyes in surprise, as his dropped sword had already done that for him.
Before his feet, sat a white cat (lion?) that incessantly cried at him whilst pawing at his shoelaces, seemingly interested in the thing as it flops over on its back and continued to twirl the piece of string around like the most interesting thing in the world. When it looked at him again, gilded eyes stared back at his blood-red ones, a glint of amusement passing through the way it slowly blinked at the man if he were to guess before it goes back to his shoelace again.
The sword stays dropped at the floor, unmoving.

.Or, Jingyuan- by some miraculous reason, is turned into a cat; now it's Blade's job to make sure the General doesn't starve to death by bringing the cat with him. Somehow, Blade finds that taking care of the General-turned-cat helps to take care of himself too.
(A 4 1 fic style entailing how Blade learns to care for himself through being a cat-sitter)
