Josie and her friends had decided to take it upon themselves to set Mr. Fell up with a real partner to live with, they just needed to get rid of Crowley.

“Decent class, but Dr. Fell has a weird sense of humour. Sometimes, he’d joke about how he knew some of the authors of the classics we were reading (all at least a century old) or how he was around back when they were being written. I’m assuming the jokes were his way of poking fun of his age, but his delivery made them seem serious, which made it less funny and more weird. Also, he showed us his card tricks in class once. They weren’t good. A few people acted impressed out of sympathy. This guy has too much time on his hands, and he’s not as funny as he thinks he is.”

Aziraphale and Crowley have too much spare time after saving the world again, so they decide to teach some uni courses (told from the perspective of some online student reviews.)

Aziraphale chose Heaven.
Crowley didn't choose Hell, but Hell chose to stick to him, much like a nasty old gum on the sole of his shoe.
It's therefore perfectly natural that Crowley should get dragged to a meeting between the Holy leaders of Heaven and the terrible, rotten forces of Hell.
What's less natural is trying to act casual when the love of your life - who has betrayed you, and broken your heart, before going no-contact with you for months - is standing a mere couple of feet away from you.
And looking absolutely angelic, too, the bastard.
