Summary
When bumbling but well-meaning angel Aziraphale is reassigned to the Angel For Christmas programme, he is humiliated, but knows it's his last chance to prove himself as an angel before he loses his wings forever. He only has a few days in which to grant a child's Christmas wish, reconnect a broken family and earn back his angelic status.
No problem, right?
Well, it might not have been... if it hadn't been for the child's ill-mannered, grouchy, workaholic, Christmas-hating dad, Crowley.
As Aziraphale races against the clock to try and restore Crowley's Christmas spirit and bring him closer to his son, he also finds himself struggling with some new and unexpected feelings of his own...

“Y’know, something’s felt off since this whole thing began,” Crowley mumbles. Aziraphale does his best not to get adhesive in the other’s mouth as he works around the man’s lips with a cotton swab.
“‘Off’ is a bit of a gentle word for medical emergencies, isn’t it, dear boy?”
“No, I mean, before that. Before Eric. Like, since this whole place got set up this year, it’s been… I dunno, eerie? Dreadful. Got a bad feeling.”
“As is the point.”
“Aziraphale, I’ve worked here for over a decade,” Crowley states bluntly. “Not once has it ever been worth losing sleep over. And yet, here we are.”
“I don’t see what point you’re trying to get at, Crowley.”
“I’m getting there. I just… I just need to know that I can trust you.”

Anthony J. Crowley has been a scare actor for 15 years, though having gripes with current working conditions, he’s considering calling it quits. When strange things begin to happen that aren’t part of the script, however, and blame shifts to him easily, it’s up to him and the recently recruited special effects artist, Aziraphale Fell, to investigate and clear his name. They may just not like what they find.
