Thankfully, an “old friend” seems to have reintroduced themselves back into Geno’s life - and for the better!

The brunette pulls the pencil from the journal’s surface with a satisfied hum before looking back up.
A low whine escapes the fifteen-meter titan’s serrated maw. Its crossed emerald-green eyes glowed in the dark and vacant interim site, the unnatural lighting basked over the head of the Section Commander.
With a grin, the woman flipped the page and pressed the pencil back onto the pages with a new fervor, her smile growing wider as she stared onward.
"Tapetum lucidum too huh... you really are something, Rogue."

Right as he wonders, there's a crackling pop, and there he is. He jumps a little at the sight of Red, but he looks more like he just wasn't expecting to land so close to him than like he wasn't expecting him to be here yet.
"Heya." Sans says, with an unrepentant grin, "Park it on the couch, starshine, I'm not set up yet."
Red, though a little dubious, parks it on the couch. "What exactly are you settin' up for, sweetheart? You got plans?"
"Mm." Hums Sans, "You could say that."
He does not elaborate, and Red is suspicious.
