Her stomach flutters as she pulls out the cool glass bottle, knowing exactly what it holds: Lipton’s, unsweetened, with lemon, the way he likes it.
“Must be fate, Mulder.”
It’s meant to be a joke, but it doesn’t sound like one. She presses the bottle into his hand then looks straight ahead, betrayed by the flush she can feel crawling over her face.

“You must tell me,” says Rosamund, from the moment they are alone in the vast but confining parlour; a maid has poured them both tea, but Mary knows the freshly brewed pot will be unceremoniously tipped down the sink in an hour or two. “What has he done to you, Mary?”
“Nothing and everything,” she answers. They are entering unfamiliar territory, and Mary cannot help but flail a little as she sinks into the depths of darkening water. “To be completely honest with you, I’m not quite sure.”

Aunt Agatha threatens to strip Bertie's inheritance away unless he transforms himself into a proper gentleman under the tutelage of Lord Norby, a severe gentleman stuck in the Victorian Ages. Bertie, certain that he will fail at this task, swaps places with Jeeves: Jeeves presents himself at Lord Norby's pile as Mr. Bertram Wooster and Bertie serves as Jeeves's valet.
Unfortunately, Jeeves performs a little too well, and an engagement looms on the horizon.
