Summary
Ed was under no delusions that things could magically be fixed by a single night of conversation and one – admittedly incredible – shared orgasm. He’d been a pirate for decades. He’d seen, been the cause of and experienced his fair share of trauma and understood the path to recovery was never a smooth one. But he had hoped that maybe, they could start taking those first steps together, once everything was out in the open… perhaps that had been optimistic.

Summary
Stede had lived a charmed life – one of exquisite cashmeres, fine marmalades and walls upon walls of leather-bound books. A strange reality where money eclipsed common sense, and where a man could just run away to chase a fairy-tale life of piracy. The sort of life that definitely should not lead to the experienced blowjobs that Stede was fucking giving him. And a life that shouldn't have Stede pulling away from him before Ed could touch him back. What was Stede hiding from him?

Summary
'There was a strange man in the cemetery. He wore a stripy suit and had wild hair and moss growing over his exposed face and neck. He told her that she hadn’t been fast enough with the cat she’d tried to create a door for today. He told her he could help her… if she just said his name'
Lydia Deetz had a darkness within her from a young age, and that darkness was nurtured by a certain poltergeist that met her in the cemetary when she was just 4 years old

Summary
Ed takes a deep breath and then spits the words out as fast as he can, not looking Stede in the eye. “You seemed like you might be kinda interested in puppy play stuff, but I didn't know how to get you to talk about it so I bought you all this shit in case you wanted to try it but it's fine if you don't, I can return it. Well, I probably can't, because, sex stuff, but like, fuck, I don't know, I'll chuck it away. Fuckin’ burn it or something. Whatever. Pretend this never happened.”
*
Or: Stede shows some interest in puppy play, and Ed is very enthusiastic about helping him explore it.

Summary
Stede Bonnet has spent most of his adult life taking heavy suppressants that have allowed him to pass as a beta with no one the wiser. His father had made it clear that no son of his would present to the world as an omega. And it was fine, really it was. He was used to being a disappointment to his father. And the side effects weren't that terrible. He resigned himself to living his life keeping parts of who he was tucked away and so drugged that no one knew it existed. And then he met Ed.
Edward Teach ends up being assigned to a long-term work trip with a handsome beta that he can't help but check out. He finds himself forming an easy friendship that feels like it could become more the longer they spend together. When a blizzard traps them in a small cabin in Montana he secretly rejoices at more time with Stede and a chance to explore their budding friendship.
Things do not go as planned.

Summary
“Everyone goes for the face, you see,” Delia is telling Stede, her leg back up on the chair that’s inexplicably placed between them. “I’m an original. I wanted a memory of our—” Delia shoots Ed a look. “—time together.”
Delia shakes at her skirt. She holds Ed’s twittering gaze as it slides slowly across her thigh, baring a faded, and yet extremely accurate tattoo of—
“Holy shit,” Lucius is somehow hissing from behind Ed’s back, voice shaking, “is that a tattoo of Blackbeard’s dick?”
-
Or: Ed wants to show Stede how pirates party. He just wasn't planning on running into a certain ex. Who just happens to have an interesting tattoo.

Summary
“You never said your dad was called Edward. That’s so fucked up, Stede,” Ed says, but he’s grinning wolfishly around the words. “What next, huh? You gonna call me daddy?”
