The conflict is still brewing, fought out on a blood-soaked chessboard with Eijirou and Katsuki as the pawns.

“Eri. What about Eri-” Mina’s voice came out uncharacteristically panicked. As Katsuki’s eyes remained fixed on the horizon.
What… what had become of the horizon.

Gentleness had never come naturally to Bakugou. Not like it did for people like Deku. Or Kirishima. Or Mina, or Jirou - or anyone else All Might would have picked a million times over, before Bakugou could even be considered to be his successor.
But all of that stops mattering, when an impromptu trip to the beach turns to disaster. Bakugou finds himself entrusted with something far more delicate than he can handle.
...And the situation quickly reveals to be much, much worse than they could have imagined.
