After the war Izuku Midoriya successfully defeated Tomura Shigaraki and AFO with the help of many. They won the war, but even so, so much was destroyed in the process of it all. Not only was the damage left behind external, but an internal damage was struck to many including Izuku. With the loss of OFA in battle, Izuku only had remaining embers left to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a hero. So what happens next in those 8 years as Izuku strives to push past his limits and remain a hero, even if it's not what he imagined.
