"You know," Valerie's eyes drag up slowly to meet her eyes, leaving a burning trail in its wake, "you don't seem like someone who likes orders. So why follow them now?" She tilts her head, the action both curious and a challenge.
Bonnie bristles uncomfortably under her gaze, "They're depending on me," she defends. "Katherine will be here soon and i can't have any distractions."
"Oh?" Valeries answering grin turns fluttering in Bonnies stomach. "So I'm a distraction then?"
"No" The word slips out indignantly, her own heart jumping traitourously along with it. She prays it was missed within the fast beating of her chest.
The glint in the vampires eyes tells her it was not.
