If someone told this very big Sylus that one of his ever so small and failing student would have had him questioning his moral he would have laughed. But there you were. The sight of you, so desperate and needy, was almost too much for him to bear.
"Please," you say, almost sounding like a desperate slut. Which was funny because before him you’ve only seen these things happen in books. Where you’d imagine yourself being folded like a fucking bretzel by your favorite fictional man.
You don’t even remember well how you ended up in this agreement, all you know is that:

two: getting expelled was very out of the question and

Summary
Their mission was to get information on one of the most infamous crime syndicates. They often stole large amounts of money and jewels. Not much was known about them or their leader at all. The agency received an anonymous tip that their leader would be at this banquet tonight, hence why Nidhogg was sending in two of her most important detectives to complete the mission. (And definitely /not/ because she was understaffed.)

Summary
He was a coward. Only a coward would shut the door and let their legs fail to hold their weight, fall onto their hands and knees and begin to cry over nothing at all before they could even switch the lights on. He almost laughed at how idiotic he was, but it came out as a wet hiccup, throat choked with tears.
Or; Eli's kinda really sad, and Naib's kinda here to help him deal with it.

Summary
Pale sunlight filters through sparse clouds that threaten to block a wonderful sky blue. It illuminates the greenish outdoor, yet it’s brisk, pure. The definition of a summer day you’d read about in penny novels.
One could only wonder, did God play favoritism with his children? Surely, he would smile down at those with his blessing, their divine right carried into their posture, leaked into their confidence and pride, upheld them-
“Eli, was it? You’ve become distracted yet again.”
It’s true, he’s been studying the array of roses on lush lining the courtyard. An odd choice of color, he grasps for their unspoken meaning to no avail. By notice of his name, he’s drawn back to the table, to the unfamiliar setting of a noblemen’s tolerant social. The words that pull him back are harsh, yet comforted by a gesture of a smile given by the shorter man who’s delivered them.
