Summary
Peter was sulking. Yep, you got that right. At the big old age of fifteen and a half, Peter was sulking in the kitchen at midnight, two hours after Pepper had all but forced him to go to bed, whilst stuffing Lucky Charms into his mouth and staring at the wall. Why, you may ask? Self-pity. Pathetic self-pity.
Peter had a fieldtrip - the one that the AcaDeca had won, but somehow all of the sophmores got to go on, which was dubbed by the other students in Decathalon, "The Golden Trip" - and was originally excited to go on it. Oh, how wrong he was.
It was at Stark Industries.
And so he sulked, trying to ignore the sound of footsteps and the elevated heartbeats that were approaching the kitchen. I mean, if they were dangerous, he would sense it, which means he shouldn't bother worrying about being seen in the avengers' kitchen... right?
