Summary
Gods have judged humanity and they have found it unworthy.
The world had fallen to ruins, wasted away at the hands of those who called themselves gods.
Skull de Mort and Sawada Tsunayoshi are the last of the living humans turned gods on earth, and bearers of the last hope of humanity. As a last ditch attempt to fix what was broken, the two of them returned back to the past, using the Trinisette to send both their souls back ‘up’ the timeline.

These different dimensions were not complex, for no ninja could possibly hold enough power to send another to a separate world with other life forms, other humans, systems, and history.
