    Shouta Aizawa thinks there’s something off about Midoriya Izuku. He’s been thinking that since he saw the boy in his classroom, hunched over a seat, making himself as small as possible. Elbows tucked in close, calloused knuckles, and darting eyes.

    A crooked nose, the kind of odd, subtle little twist that gives the boy’s large green eyes a quirky flare. The kind of nose that was broken one too many times and hadn’t been set properly often enough.

    That was not the behavior of someone with a ridiculously overpowered Quirk. That was especially not the behavior he’d seen during the exam footage, the footage of a green-haired teenager who was flashy and open and seemed to radiate power.

    Illogical.

    Or: Midoriya gets into vigilantism a little too early, with a Quirk more like his uncle's than his father's, and, frankly, half the time he's just along for the ride.

    Minutes after Izuku had fallen to his death, after he had finally met his peace with the darkness, something happened.

    There was a bright flash of light that only lasted a second behind his eyes, and Izuku awoke with a sharp gasp.

    Yet, something was different. A ring of gold now surrounding the pupil of his emerald eyes.

    Or!

    The basic 'Izuku gets an immortality quirk' and such but my take on it! Aizawa ends up finding this little child and says 'mine' while also trying to figure out what the fuck is going on. I don't really know whats going on honestly-

    That means he needs to plan. He needs to find a way to fix the mistakes of the future and stop his friends from dying. He refuses to fail this time.

    He'll be the Hero he couldn't be.

     

    Or, Midoriya Izuku was Quirkless, was gifted a Quirk from All Might, went to Yuuei, fought in a War, lived through the After and was supposed to die. Only he finds himself back in the past with a skewed moral code, PTSD, and an extreme desire to stop his friends from dying brutal deaths. He is going to change the future, make some friends, maybe find a boyfriend, give some Villains a reason to be better and stop some Heroes. For better or for worse.
